Get Home Safe

As a Plymouth Rock Massachusetts customer, you’re eligible for up to $50 towards the cost of a cab ride home that you can use anytime you feel it would be unsafe for you to drive (excluding mechanical breakdown). Some safety concerns include, but are not limited to, drowsiness, impairment and distraction. You can use this benefit once a year per policy.

How do I get reimbursed?

Send your scanned cab fare receipt along with this completed form to us by email to:

Will my rates go up if I use Get Home Safe?

No. Get Home Safe is an additional benefit for all Plymouth Rock Massachusetts car insurance customers to use once per policy per year.  This is effective for all policies as of November 15, 2011.

When can I use Get Home Safe?

You can use the program if find yourself in any situation where it would be unsafe to operate your vehicle, excluding mechanical breakdown. 

What if someone shares a cab with me?

Sharing is caring. The benefit covers the cost of the cab ride up to $50, as long as you or one of your household members are one of the passengers.

Will I be charged for this benefit as part of my policy?

This benefit is included in the cost of your policy – there is no additional charge.  It’s our way of offering more than just insurance.

What if my cab fare is over $50?

We’ll reimburse you up to $50. You will be responsible for any amount over $50.  Please save your receipt and mail it in to us, along with your Get Home Safe form for partial reimbursement up to $50.

What if my cab fare is under $50 – can I use Get Home Safe more than once?

No. We’ll reimburse you one time per policy year for one cab fare worth up to $50. Please save your receipt and mail it in to us, along with your Get Home Safe form.

What if I can’t find my cab receipt?

We can only reimburse you for documented expenses, so be sure to save your receipt and send it to us.
